Chris is singing Bass solo with the Nelson Civic Choir and Orchestra for two performances in Nelson’s Christchurch Cathedral.

Musica Ficta, Nelson’s vocal ensemble specialising in Early Music, performs light works with an animal connection.

Pieces will include: The Silver Swan (Gibbons), Les Chants des Oyseaux (Janequin), Sweet Honey-Sucking Bees (Wilbye), Chi Chilichi (Cock-a-doodle do) (Lassus)

Chris has sung as bass soloist for Voices New Zealand, the Nelson Civic Choir and the Whangarei Choral Society.

As a member of Musica Ficta, Chris sings bass with Nelson’s Early Music ensemble.

He is also a member of the Non Tanto Trio, playing keyboard along with Mel Stewart (double bass) and Ruth Kenny (flute). Non Tanto plays background music for weddings. Non Tanto: when not too much (non tanto) music is just enough.
